About the Author
Bart Davis is the author of ten novels, five non-fiction books, two feature films, and a wide range of print articles. He is a graduate of the Bronx High School of Science and Stony Brook University. Bart’s books have been published internationally, and translated into Japanese, Italian, Chinese, Norwegian, Hungarian, Bulgarian, German, Dutch, Portuguese, British, Spanish, and Korean. His novels include the five-book Peter MacKenzie submarine series and the bestselling A CONSPIRACY OF EAGLES. Bart has also written for the New York Times and NEWSDAY, and his work has appeared in “Psychology Today” and “People” magazine.

This book is a good mystery with an intriguing twist in the plot. It is a quick read throughout, however, it has no prominent action scenes. No gun fights, car chases or fist fights. But, the pace of the plot progresses at a lively clip that is bound to hold the reader's interest. The story has a surprising turn of events toward the end that will keep the reader glued to the pages. This is a thoroughly enjoyable read despite a heavy dose of I Ching throughout.Product details

For those of us who remember the Vietnam War, and all that has followed it really isn't as far fetched as you might think. Anything is possible in this screwy world. Great twists and turns along with some very cool dialogue between the main characters. Well done sir. Well done.
It was apparent that a great deal of research had been done in preparation f the writing of this book. The research included Chinese religion and American military strategy.
I picked this up on a whim, and as an inexpensive kindle download for a flight. I was actually pleasantly surprised. A bit slow to start, but picked up by the 3rd-4th chapter. Kept me interested throughout my flight as well as my layover, and plan on checking out a few other of his books.
